First of all, please introduce yourself!
Hey, what’s going on? I go by Donnie Visa.
How did you get into music? What has that journey been like?
The journey has been great. It’s been a lot of hard work and consistency. I got into music when I was about 16-17. I started out on the production side then converted to rapping, singing, and songwriting.
What musical genres and artists inspire you?
R&B, I’m really big on 90s artists and the music from that time.
What is the most important thing you have learned in the music industry so far?
The business is more important than the music, always have your business together!
Let’s talk about your latest release “Legendary”. What is it about?
Just the thought of being legendary, chasing my dreams, and choosing my own path.
What inspired you to write it?
All of the decisions I’ve been making towards my music career. I feel like they have been smart and legendary choices.
How was producing the song?
The song was actually produced by a guy who goes by “ProdbyLow.” It was our first time working together. He always sends me multiple beats, and I just thought the production was fire for that track. So, shout out to him for being a part of that.
What was your favorite part of the production?
The hook is my favorite part of the song, it just grabs you.
What do you want listeners to listen for in your music?
The vibe you need, and the sound you’ve been looking for.
Any future plans?
Yes, I’m currently working on the “Approved Way 3” mixtape, and a lot more videos and content are on the way.
