Andromache’s “Ela” (Έλα: Come)
Andromache‘s “Ela” is representing Cyprus in this year’s Eurovision. Although representing one country, songwriters from Greece, Albania, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Spain help to write this song. The song is described as an ethnic pop with modern dance-pop production. This song might sound a lot like Samira Efendi‘s “Mata Hari” or “Cleopatra” as they used the same set: ethnic pop with modern production. Though, Andromache’s song features a Greek bouzouki and Albanian fyell brezi.
“Ela” is an addictive dance-pop song that features ethnic instrumentation. It charms audiences with its ethnic roots but also with its popish melodies and danceable beats. With this, it will make it to the finals.
